If you are recording long duration video you may end up finding files ending in .M00, M01 and growing. If you try to open any of these files inside MLV App you find that it won't import as you may expect.
Lets explore this so that you know how to manage them and why they occur!
Can you pls tell me what´s going on here? Testing continuous recording in 1080 10bit and getting these strange files which mlv won´t import... ?

When digging into this topic it has to do with Fat32 formatting on the memory card which will happen should you format the card within your camera. Fat32 formatting has a maximum writeable file size of 4GB so once this is hit it will end that file and make a new one to continue the recording.
This isn't a bad thing but it can make you end up with a very noisy file directory when trying to open as in MPV App you have to make sure all the files are in the same folder and then open all videos within the Mxx series so that it can open it as one video.
If you want this to stop happening you need to take and format the card, which means redoing your Magic Lantern software on the card and then settings also. If you choose to do this make sure you select EXFAT as the format type on a PC or Mac. This will allow you to move pasat this 4GB limit.
